A few questions with MC Cheshire Grin

1. When did you start making nerdcore?

Mid-January of 2008.

2. How does it feel for this to be your first show?

I'm a little nervous because I've never been alone on a stage before (previously in bands), but I'm really stoked for people to hear what I'm about.

3. What subject matter do your songs tend to encompass?

Video Games, billiards, dating, work, and insomnia so far. I'm working on an all D and D EP.

4. What are some of your favorite nerdy past times?

Well, I have two 4th Ed. D and D campaigns right now (one of which I'm DMing). I tend to spend a lot of my time playing Zelda games, watching movies, and reading.

5. What musicians are you guys influenced by?

Uhm, far too many to mention but in the hip-hop world I would say Del, Frontalot, Schaffer, Gift of Gab, and Atmosphere. My favorite band would be Opeth.

6. Why should people check out your set?

Because exposing yourself to new music is healthy! Give a guy a chance!!
