John Cusack in the film "Say Anything"

John Cusack in the film "Say Anything"

I am joined once again by Rick Vee, we play and discuss some music
from my favorite decade of music. And yes, there is one New Order
song on there.  It was unavoidable.

Some engineering mistakes were ironed out from last week’s episode,
but new ones arose. At least none of the songs were way too quiet this
time.

Hey, all. I have a new podcast, called NIGHT SHIFT. It is a series of 15 podcasts/radio shows that I have to complete for school.  I don’t know how to make a real podcast, so you’ll have to just download it one episode at a time.

Every episode has a theme of some kind.  Some will have guest hosts.

The Guinness Book Can Kiss My Ass

I experienced a good bout of Nerd-Rage when I read this article on kotaku. Guinness made a list of the top 100 MOST INFLUENTIAL video games. Influence is a hard thing to gauge, and some of their choices are apt, but their hierarchy I do not agree with. Keep in mind the list is made by “industry experts” so that means that they really don’t know shit.  I’m going to nitpick Guinness’s list for you here. Read the rest of this entry »

Death! To the Doomriders

December 21st, 2008

Death! To The Doomriders was one of the finest bands from dallas/fort worth. Today I was thinking about how awesome they are, and It turns out, they have a music video for their song Windmill. Check it out.

Check them out on their myspace.

A “Tribute” to Garfield

December 17th, 2008

Garfield is pretty unfunny on its own. We all know that. Jim Davis’s hackneyed story lines, and limp-dicked heart-feltdness  has delighted old people and special needs children for generations. To us people with a real sense of humor, it gets on our nerves. I’m sure the movies sucked too. There are other ways to make Garfield funny….

I changed the HDS front page.  I keep meaning to make more content and do more with this site, but.. .eh… I can’t make it happen for some reason.  I need to figure out a way to make a nice link on the side bar for the forum. I updated the forum software too. Maybe there will be less spy bots then?
